G. M. Selby’s Geotechnical team specializes in the design of communication tower foundations to withstand hurricane loading, freezing and thawing cycles and other excessive environmental conditions. We have designed computer programs to analyze the foundation requirements for the most common tower types used in the wireless communications industry. Our engineers provide the client with soils investigation report and actual foundation design for new and existing towers or structures. Our geotechnical services includes standard penetration tests, core borings, split spoon sampling, soil mechanics and parameters, foundation design (auger cast, pre-cast caisson), and all geological testing.
